Refund Policy

Last updated: 12th February 2026

This Refund Policy explains when you may be entitled to a refund from T B Autos (“we”, “us”, “our”). At T B Autos we take pride in honest work and clear communication. If something isn’t right, our first priority is to inspect the vehicle and resolve the issue fairly.

1) Our approach to refunds

Because our services involve diagnosing faults, fitting parts and carrying out labour, refunds are not usually the first step. In most cases, if there is a problem related to work we have carried out, the correct remedy is for us to inspect the vehicle and, where appropriate, repair or rectify the issue.

2) If you are unhappy with work completed

If you believe there is an issue with work we’ve completed, you must contact us as soon as possible and give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle.

Please do not arrange repairs elsewhere before speaking to us, as we may not be able to assess the issue and a refund may not be possible.

3) Parts and warranties

Where parts are supplied and fitted by T B Autos, any warranty is usually provided by the parts manufacturer or supplier and is subject to their terms.

If a part fails due to a manufacturing fault, we will support you with the warranty process and advise the best next step. Labour costs may or may not be covered depending on the supplier’s warranty terms.

4) Diagnosis and investigation time

Diagnostic work and investigation time is a service in its own right. Once diagnostic time has been spent, it is generally non-refundable, even if you decide not to proceed with repairs.

5) No refunds for changes of mind

Refunds are not available if:

  • You change your mind after authorising work

  • You decide not to proceed after diagnosis has begun or been completed

  • A fault is caused by an unrelated issue, wear-and-tear or a new fault after the work was completed

6) Refunds where appropriate

A refund may be considered where:

  • You have paid for work that we did not carry out, or

  • An overpayment has been made, or

  • A refund is required under consumer law and rectification is not possible within a reasonable time

Any refund agreed will be made to the original payment method where possible and typically processed within a reasonable timeframe.
